Laura,

Thanks for this post. I didn't realize I could make a grid in Word and paste it into an Evernote note, which is great. I've been disappointed in the formatting limitations of EN. This is a perfect solution.

Hi Laura,

Thanks for another great post. When people ask me how I know so much about technology I always say, 'because I play with it.'

There are so many theories about ludology, but the fact they are predicated around the inherent pleasure of experimentation, of enjoying a journey that may not have an explicit end destination at the outset, makes them abhorrent to those whose minds are fixed on performance targets and tangible metrics. All of those are important too, but in a world where the pace of change is so fast, there must be a realignment in terms of how teachers approach their own CPD.

This is how I managed to get so many teachers using Google Apps at Berkhamsted and it is how you'll get them using iPads et al in the fullness of time.

Well done you and I must say how fascinating I find your departmental Google Site that encourages team members to share their fears and experiences of using the iPads in class. We're all smarter together - now ain't that the truth!

All the best,

Sacha

Hello Laura,
I just came across your post and wanted to drop by and say hello.
Thanks so much for sharing your workflow with your readers. It's great to hear that Evernote has helped with your planning and you are putting it to good use. Let me know if you have any questions of feedback.

We also recently started a discussion forum specifically for schools where people are sharing their tips and tricks and best practices. I know there are lots of people who would be interesting in learning more about the way you use Evernote. Would you mind sharing it here?

Thanks again

I love your comment at the end- Wise words
We are looking at introducing a few into kindy next year...with a keen teacher. Up till now it has just been me and my iPod and iPad, allowing kids to use them in the library, trying to enthuse others about what could be done......
Have fun with the implementation. :)

I will share it in the future. For now, while my team are learning the ropes I want them to feel secure in sharing with each other without a wider audience. I will post developments to my blog as that moves forward!

I would be interested in info gathered from your support site, re: ideas, resources and feedback; links to good work; beginners how-to guides for different apps; collaboration, debate and discussion. Will you eventually post this info? Would help toward purchase and set-up of iPad lending program in library.

We also do a nice line in elves, Easter Bunnies and the Bogeyman, for people who have been beastly to you.

Over many years of liaising with top imaginary figures in the fields of entertainment, law and baking, we can assure you of suitable contact for any occasion.

Your friendly, neighbourhood eLearning director. :-)
